Exempt Listing Disclosure Now Available
Earlier this year, the National Association of REALTORS adopted new MLS policies, called the Multiple Listing Options for Sellers. The intent is to provide sellers and their agents more options and choice when marketing a property. Specifically, the new rules impact office exclusive listings as well as a new, “delayed marketing” option. You can learn more about the delayed marketing option by clicking here.
In order to comply with the new rules, NHAR worked with PrimeMLS to create a mandated disclosure document which must be used when entering an office exclusive listing or delayed marketing arrangement.
If your brokerage is interested in offering an exclusive listing or delayed marketing options to your clients, the new “EXEMPT LISTING DISCLOSURE ADDENDUM TO LISTING AGREEMENT” is attached and will be available in all NHAR form provider libraries (Dotloop, ZipForms).
