Appraisers; requirements in analysis and reporting. FHA/VA minimum property requirements. FHA/VA and independent inspection comparisons. General timeline for FHA/VA appraisal process. Trough review of the FJA/VAS inspection checklist, with explanations and examples, as follows:
Externalities, property site, property roof/attic/structure/foundation, property exterior, property interior, minimum requirements for living unit, mechanical components: heating, plumbing, electric, wells, septic, pools. Identifying defective conditions, defective conditions requiring qualified individual to inspect, FHA/VA requirements for modular and manufactured home inspection, FHA/VA inspection for wood destroying insects. Process for appeals to FHA/VA for defective conditions, Class participation with questions for the instructor. Share contact information with an FHA licensed appraiser.
