CLASS DESCRIPTON:

The students will learn the laws governing home inspectors and the home inspection process.  Home inspectors are required to be state licensed and must follow a strict scope of work and provide a detailed written report.  The student will learn what items and areas of the house that must be inspected as well as the limitations of the home inspector for example:  Inspectors cannot give estimates of work needed, cannot turn on on components that have been shut down, reports are confidential between client and inspector.  The students ill learn best practices for having the house ready for the inspector, example:  Attic accessible, animals in cages or out of home during inspection, any repair receipt available for review, all doors and windows closed 12 hours before inspection for radon testing.  home warranties and so much more.  This is a great class.

CANCELLATIONS MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO CLASS OR A $25.00 NO-SHOW FEE WILL BE ASSESSED TO YOUR ACCOUNT.  Cancellations accepted by cancelling through the portal or calling GMNBR office at 603-668-1054. Should not cancel through the instructor and it will not constitute a valid reason to waive any assessed no-show fees.
